Merchant guide & knowledge base

Everything a merchant needs to launch, sell, and manage their store on ETapri.

How ETapri works

ETapri gives every merchant a branded online storefront plus a WhatsApp checkout flow. Customers browse the catalog, add to cart, and complete the order with the merchant directly on WhatsApp. Payments are collected through MyFatoorah (Mada, KNET, STC Pay, Visa, Mastercard) or cash on delivery.

Merchant onboarding (5 steps)

  1. 1Sign up with email or Google.
  2. 2Create your store: pick a URL slug, add Arabic + English names, currency, country, WhatsApp number.
  3. 3Configure brand: logo, cover image, tagline, support email, return policy.
  4. 4Add products: one by one in the editor, or bulk via the Excel template.
  5. 5Share your storefront link on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and start selling.

Catalog preparation checklist

  • Product name in Arabic and English (Chinese optional).
  • Clear description with key specs and benefits.
  • Price and optional compare-at price for discounts.
  • Stock count and SKU.
  • Category for easy filtering.
  • 1–8 product photos, square, under 5 MB each.

Bulk import via Excel

Download the Excel template from the Products page → Import. The Products sheet has columns for slug, names, descriptions, price, stock, SKU, status, featured flag, category, and images. The Instructions sheet explains every column. Images must be public URLs separated by | (pipe) or comma.

Orders & payments

Every order created on the storefront opens a WhatsApp chat with the merchant, pre-filled with order details. The merchant confirms, sends a MyFatoorah payment link or accepts cash on delivery, then updates the order status (confirmed → packed → shipped → delivered) from the dashboard.

Multilingual storefront

ETapri ships with Arabic (RTL), English, and Simplified Chinese out of the box. The language switcher is in the top bar of every page; the storefront, dashboard, and checkout all translate together.
